Job description
We are hiring Team Leads for a distribution center in Fife, WA! This role offers a consistently set schedule (hours may vary but schedules remain the same) overtime opportunities are available! Interview and start ASAP at $20/hour
Responsibilities Include:
- Assist Warehouse Supervisors and Manager as directed in addition to performing the daily tasks as needed.
- Pick and select products, palletize products, shrink wrap carts/pallets and load trailers
- Assist Warehouse Supervisors and Manager in the areas of training, safety, auditing and conducting daily shift meetings
- Possible corrective action execution and employee feedback given (positive & negative)
- Motivate and coach employees ensure that deadlines are hit, numbers are met and the quality of the work is maintained (enforce productivity metrics)
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Has previous experience shipping via FED EX/UPS/USPS or at least has knowledge from similar companies
- Has previous experience with RF scanners
- Previous lead work or 1+ years of warehouse experience
- Experience with Computer systems in a warehouse environment
- Comfortable with customer interfacing
- Comfortable to provide directive to associates.
- Willing to be flexible with their time, start time, end time may fluctuate as demands are handed by customer.
- Willing to be flexible in knowing that the person will be a working associate may pick pack and or ship goods.
- Comfortable with running end of day reports
