ACCOUNTANT – CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: ASSIST IN THE CLEAN UP OF 2022 QUICKBOOKS ENTRIES RELATED TO A/R/SALES FOR COUNTRY CLUB REVENUES FOR GOLF, RESTAURANT, BANQUET AND AMENITIES FOR THE TALAMORE COUNTRY CLUB AND APPLECROSS COUNTRY CLUB.

WE ARE ESTIMATING THIS ASSIGNMENT HAS A TOTAL NEED OF 200 HOURS AND WOULD LIKE TO COMPLETE THE ASSIGNMENT BY THE END OF MARCH.

SOME WORK MAY BE COMPLETED REMOTE, BUT PRIMARILY THIS IS AN IN OFFICE ASSIGNMENT DUE TO THE COLLABORATION NEED WITH THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER.

Talamore is a private company with multiple locations in the Club/Resort Industry. Our core business units are more than 30 years old and have great stability. Corporate Offices at Talamore Country Club located Ambler, PA in the heart of Montgomery County located near the intersection of routes 309 and 63.

Our organization is seeking a contract assignment accountant to work in our Corporate office and be focused on reviewing and correcting 2022 revenue entries into Quickbooks from the data provided from the Club’s two Point of Sale (POS) systems.

Job Skills:

· Quickbooks Desktop (Enterprise) – 5 years experience.

· Experience with use of the Quickbooks “Sales Journal” is a MUST

· Diagnosing bank deposits for credit cards/ach/check/cash transactions to tie to the daily invoices/batches is a MUST.

· POS familiarity to be able to process daily A/R batches is a PLUS

· Communication Skills: This position will communicate regularly with certain Departmental Managers and the Accounting Manager

· Willing to learn other software platforms, specifically ‘Triple Seat’ for banquets and ‘Club Prophet’ for the Restaurant and Golf operations.

· High level of Organizational Skills and ability to Prioritize and meet deadlines

· Reliability and capable of "self starting" with minimal direction

· Quickbooks certification and a degree in accounting preferred but not required
