Accounts Payable Specialist Job Description:

CareSpot/MedPost/FastMed Urgent Care has a full time position available in our accounting department for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist. We are looking for individuals who possess a positive attitude and have strong work ethic. In this position you will gain exposure to various accounting concepts and tasks within the department. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Manage payables and process invoices for 35 or more urgent care centers
• Ensure proper coding and approval documentation for all invoices
• Match invoices to checks, ensuring proper approval and accuracy
• Respond to any vendor issues
• Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
• Assist with month end closing
• Sort and distribute incoming mail
• Assist with projects as needed

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• At least two (2) years proficiency with Excel
• Experience with Great Plains (or similar accounting software)
• Minimum GED/High School diploma
