The office consists of nearly 30 distinct sections that advocate for consumers and victims of crime, assist the criminal justice community, provide legal counsel for state offices and agencies, and enforce certain state laws. What You'll Do:
The Ohio Attorney General's Office is currently seeking an organized and motivated individual for an Administrative Professional 2 position in the BCI Section, Richfield Office. This position is responsible for performing a variety of clerical, procedural and administrative tasks for the section. The duties for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Relieves supervisor of routine administrative duties
  • Researches and analyzes materials, information and programs
  • Makes recommendations regarding program activities
  • Provides technical information and advice to administrators to aid in decision making
  • Assists in developing new procedures related to established program policy
  • Transcribes, formats and/or assists in formatting, typing and proofreading standard and/or technical correspondence and reports
  • Processes bills for payment
  • Purchases supplies and equipment
  • Keeps fiscal and operational records
  • Performs public relations duties and facilitates tours of the office
  • Assists with background checks
  • Works on special assignments and projects as directed
  • Prepares reports, publications, and memos

Qualifications


Completion of associate core coursework in secretarial science or business office applications from accredited career school or community college; and typing skill of 50 words per minute.


  • Or 18 months experience or 18 months training in secretarial/administrative professional field; and typing skill of 50 words per minute.
