We are currently seeking a talented Admissions Liaison Coordinator to join our dynamic and growing team. The Admissions Liaison Coordinator performs a variety of assigned administrative job functions essential to the daily operations of the organization by assisting the Clinical Referral Liaisons, Clinical Coordinators and other internal and external customers during the referral to admission process for the Inpatient Hospital. This role acts as the liaison between our Clinical Referral Liaisons in the field and internal departments who are involved in the admissions process, such as the Unit Secretaries, Patient Information, Clinical Coordinators, and Physicians. They are to provide excellent customer service and help educate the hospital to potential patients/families as a state of the science top inpatient rehab hospital in the region. This role serves as the main contact in admissions for our inpatient facility on the phone. This role also helps with insurance verifications, verifying benefits for potential patients, and communicating coverage back to the Clinical Referral Liaisons so that they can educate the families.

Successful candidates will possess:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in a health care setting in an administrative support role.
  • Experience in a physical rehabilitation program preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Able to communicate, both written and orally in an effective manner and to maintain and enhance internal and external relations.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality of all patient employee information.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly and calmly to frequent change in admissions status.
  • Enjoy people and working in a team setting.
  • High School diploma/GED required.
