Role Overview:
This position is responsible to complete various laboring and small equipment operation tasks to produce quality aggregate products. Will need to display a professional and courteous attitude with customers and team members. May also operate skidsteer as needed.

This is a seasonal position, you can use your winters off to travel, hunt, fish or for other activities you enjoy while your benefits continue year round.

Minimum Qualifications:

As a successful Laborer you will have:
  • Ability to hold and maintain a Class A or B CDL license in accordance with all state and federal

  • DOT/FMCSA regulations
  • Ability to operate and maintain equipment

  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime and some Saturdays.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    1. May operate small powered hand tools

    2. May operate small equipment including bobcat, tractor, or roller or move from one site to another.

    3. Safely and properly perform maintenance (lubricating, fueling and cleaning) and operate small equipment, such as bobcat, tractor, jackhammer, roller, pickup truck, air compressor, tractor/packer, steel drum or rubber tire roller

    4. Shovel excess material away from crusher, screen or washplant unit as needed.

    5. Remove road joints

    6. Hook up and un hook small trailer to pick-up

    7. Fill sand bags
    8. Change bag house bags
    9. Able to operate skidster for clean up of materials
    10. Able to drive truck/skidster trailer combination to transport skidsters and other equipment and material from site to site (CDL license)
    11. Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) and work with difficult people under high stress situations. Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations & act courteous/respectful of others. Monitor and discuss production problems with co-workers and managers/supervisors.

    12. Ensure MSHA, safety and environmental regulation compliance.

    13. Performs other duties as assigned.
