Aerotek Aviation is looking to hire Aircraft Structures Mechanics to support a long-term contract-to-hire position in Piney Flats, TN. These positions start immediately, offer weekly compensation, medical/dental/vision/401(k) options, and an opportunity to go direct with one of the largest Aviation/Aerospace companies in the world.

Contract Type: Contract-to-Hire

Duration: 6+ Months

Description:

• Install Bell, Aeronautical Accessories, and other aftermarket kits
• Perform major and minor repairs and alterations to aircraft structure, including sheet metal and composite repairs and fabrications
• Fabricate mounting provisions for avionics installations
• Read, interpret, and perform work IAW manufacturers drawings and instructions consistently and accurately.
• Measure, drill, and modify aircraft structures without causing damage to structure or underlying components

Qualifications:

• 2+ yeas of experience in the aviation industry as an aircraft structures mechanics
• Candidates with DOD/Military experience welcomed to apply!
• Will consider any aircraft experience
• Ability to fabricate and install sheet metal components

Preferred Qualifications:

• Helicopter and/or Light Jet Experience
• Airframe License is a bonus

Additional Information:

• Will start on Day Shifts at 6:30a - 4p
• Week 1 is 36 hours and week 2 is 44 hours (off every other Friday)
• Need to be shift flexible between weekends, nights, and morning, afternoons
