Summary:
Health Research, Inc. (HRI), a non-profit 501(c)(3) is seeking an Assistant Grant Administrator to join our Grants Management team at its’ Buffalo Roswell Park Division. HRI’s mission is to further, extend and support the mission of Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Corporation in its efforts to identify the cause of and cure for cancer. This position plays an important role in this effort by providing operational support to the Office of Sponsored Programs. They serve as a liaison between Scientists, Administrators, and outside funding agencies; conducts budget analysis; researches payroll related issues on grants; processes all Carryforward and No-Cost extension requests; conducts Grant application and budget review; interprets federal and non-federal regulations; responds to general account inquiries.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in grant administration, accounting, budget preparation, financial analysis or research administrative support in a healthcare, academic, non-profit, research or related setting; or
2. Associate’s degree in an appropriate field and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in grant administration, accounting, budget preparation, financial analysis or research administrative support in a healthcare, academic, non-profit, research or related setting; or
3. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time experience in grant administration, accounting, budget preparation, financial analysis or research administrative support in a healthcare, academic, non-profit, research or related setting.

Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
