Collins Aerospace is looking for an Associate Director, Governance for the Mission Systems Services organization within Mission Systems Engineering & Technology. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with the ability to deliver service-oriented capabilities, deploy strategic initiatives, with a collaborative approach across all sites and value streams, and fuel predictable program performance.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the MiS Process Governance Council (PGC) to ensure cross-functional engagement & understanding of business requirements

  • Sustainability Lead for Mission Systems working across Collins and RTX

  • Lead activities and teams in support of predictable program performance and execution excellence across the SBU, including: Pre-Execution Program Planning, CMS Culture and training, Continuous improvement, etc.

  • Support and lead business integration activities

  • Engage in developing compliance strategies and governance models across the SBU (Business processes, GTC, AS9145, etc.)

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives that support the SBU goals and improve the organization’s compliance, quality, safety, and performance

  • Lead a team of experienced process and business professionals, leaders, and teams

  • Identify and lead CORE initiatives

  • Drive results across the organization that lead to improved understanding and operational effectiveness

  • Primary point of contact for collaboration and partnerships with other SBUs, Central Functions, and businesses related to Collins level initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Ability to build relationships, work effectively and collaboratively across all Mission Systems functions, Collins SBUs, and RTX

  • Strong communication skills with experience presenting to and influencing Sr. Leadership

  • Ability to develop strategies and influence across organizations

  • Ability to communicate across all levels and collaborate regionally & globally with all stakeholders

  • Experience and strong understanding of Collins CMS processes

  • Firm understanding of business processes and lifecycle models

  • Experience working with and/or understanding industry standards: AS9100, AS9145, AS9115, CMMI, etc.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)

  • Must have an active US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance or ability to obtain.

The salary range for this role is $129,000.00 to $265,000.00; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.

The salary range for this role is 139,000 USD - 277,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
