Position Summary:

Transworld System Inc., a nationwide commercial collection agency, is seeking a mid to upper tier full-time Collector to join its team. Experience in commercial collections in an outbound call environment is required. This is remote work at home position for EST/CST residents that includes an hourly base of $15-$17, plus monthly commission. We provide the equipment!

This position requires the ability to professionally negotiate with a variety of different personalities to collect on debts.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Contact commercial debtors regarding past due accounts and negotiating acceptable payment solutions.

Qualifications and education requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience in commercial collections required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong work ethic and a proven record of accomplishments
• Strong interpersonal skills and integrity
• Good organizational skills
• Professional phone etiquette
• Positive attitude
• Ability to solve problems
• Work well in a team/competitive environment
• Negotiation skills
• AS/400 and FACS experience is a plus
• FDCPA knowledge is helpful
• Ability to successfully pass pre-employment criminal background and drug screening
• Available to work between 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday - Friday
• Stable work history
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

Physical requirements:

• Normal, corrective vision range; ability to see color and to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols
• Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, bend and reach
• Ability to reach with hands and arms
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs
