We are looking for hard-working, motivated Body Shop Prepper/Finisher to join our growing Tom Kadlec Auto Body team!

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Thoroughly reviews each repair order prior to beginning work on vehicle
- Completes all paint preparation processes for vehicles according to factory specifications and body sho policies
- May prime, edge or jam replacement parts
- Knows how to properly sand and prep for paint, new parts and blend panels
- Knows how to properly sand and featheredge surface for primer
- Able to properly block panels for refinishing
- Able to mask and spray the correct amount and coats of primer
- Able to mask all panels and cover car to minimize tapelines and overspray on the vehicle
- Inspect refinished body panels for proper color match and acceptable finish texture, bringing any quality issues to management’s attention immediately.
- Performs other duties assigned by management
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have experience
- Must be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver
- Have knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
- Are a team player
- Are computer literate
- Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Have a valid driver’s license
