The ideal person for this role has the ability to lead the daily operations of the office while also aligning with the company’s vision. Working closely with upper management of the company, you will have input and resourcing to help your branch surpass goals and grow the impact of solar.
**This position will be remote to start out of our New Berlin, WI office. It will have some on site requirements so you must be willing to relocate once the office is open if you do not reside within the area **

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage warehouse operations and field operations for solar and electrical teams
  • Help develop SOP-setting standards for proper procedures
  • Work alongside the Director of Branch Operations and Sales Management to grow branch and customer acquisition
  • Work with the Branch Development Department to prepare the Branch for operations including but not limited to - property management, furnishing, registrations/licenses, signage, and inventory
  • Ensure job and warehouse safety
  • Manage service requests and visits
  • Identify training needs and opportunities; develop and implement a plan for meeting those needs
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure that goals and objectives are clearly communicated with branch staff; provide guidance and leadership to enable staff to meet these goals and objectives
  • Maintain and develop positive relationships with existing and prospective clients, demonstrating excellent customer service and setting an example for other staff
  • Execute and report on key performance indicators as established
  • In conjunction with the People Services Department, recruit and interview new employees with low turn-over
  • Participate in community activities to promote the company and to build goodwill
  • Support the installation team as necessary to execute projects
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

EDUCATION:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
  • 3-5 years of extensive solar or construction experience in office setting or in the field (required)
  • 3-5 years of experience managing a team and overseeing daily operations (required)
  • NABCEP Certified (preferred but not required)
COMPETENCIES – SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:
  • A dynamic individual who can operate in the field and in the office
  • A self-starter ready to grow with a rapidly evolving company
  • Ability to excel with limited supervision
  • Proven record of accountability and achieving goals
  • Must be willing to travel 25% of the time throughout 150-mile radius
  • Must be willing to foster relationships with community members, fellow colleagues, and industry contacts

Pay range for this role is $80,000-$90,000 annually, depending on experience.
