The Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Fort Collins South is hiring a weekend Breakfast Attendant! The hours for this position are 6am to 12pm every Saturday and Sunday.

The Breakfast Attendant position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and food handling to guests in the breakfast area. This position will handle food and beverage needs for guests.

Starting Pay $14.00 per hour

The Breakfast Attendant reports to the General Manager and is responsible for providing personalized service to all guests, guest interaction, and prepares the food and beverage needs for the hotel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides personalized service to all guests.
• Regularly communicates and converses with all guests.
• Prepares food and beverages according to recipe.
• Fully understands and complies with all food safety requirements.
• Sets up breakfast area before guests begin to arrive; displays the food and beverages in an organized and attractive manner according to brand standards/requirements.
• Efficiently replenishes buffet with food, beverages and/or supplies as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness of buffet area throughout the morning by reorganizing and tidying food area as necessary.
• Properly disposes of used plates, utensils, napkins and/or cups as necessary.
• May be responsible for keeping inventory stocked by ordering additional food and/or supplies as needed
• Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner; follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintains regular attendance, is consistently on time, and observes prescribed work, break and meal periods in compliance with standards.
• Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code.
• Performs any other duties as requested by supervisor.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Physical Demands

The Breakfast Attendant will have to spend hours walking and standing. This position will be required to bend at the knees and waist, squat, reach over-head, and extend arms out in front. This position is an indoor setting.

Environmental Conditions

The hotel may be a busy facility. The Breakfast Attendant may have to manage a number of guests needs and requests and will be required to work efficiently with other staff. This position may find the environment to be busy, noisy.
