About the Role
In this role, the candidate will provide analytical support to the digital Marketing team which includes monitoring performance trends and forecasting profitability on across digital credit card segments. This role will also work with the Marketing team to develop and track new creatives and tests along with identifying optimization opportunities tied to digital acquisition efforts. The ideal candidate has strong data analysis/visualization skills, ability to query data, and will provide insights that help guide strategic business decisions at PREMIER Bankcard.
This is not a remote role and is located on-site at PREMIER's Sioux Falls, SD location.
Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to synthesize data to form a story and align information to contrast or compare to industry perspective and historical business trends
• Ability to think creatively to find innovative solutions to complex analytical questions
• Consult with business areas to determine/identify analytical needs and business/customer requirements and reporting
• Query data, create data visualizations, & derive insights
• Provide analysis strategies in support of marketing campaigns, analyze and relay results, successes/failures, and profitability to leadership
• Ensure analytic assumptions are accurate and based upon sound financial and/or statistical principles
• Assesses and prioritize projects based on changing needs of the business
• Basic statistical modeling and analysis of data using advanced software

Skills and Qualifications

• Three-five years of experience in an analytical role. Experience can include but not limited to data analysis, forecasting, and reporting
• A degree in Business, Math/Statistics, Analytics, Data Science, Actuarial Science is highly preferred if not required
• Required competencies include: PC skills, including competency with SQL or SAS, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Attention to detail, organizational, multi-tasking, problem-solving and conceptual thinking skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; engage in independent self-direction; must be able to fulfill the responsibilities of the position with little supervision; assesses priorities and changing needs and directs oneself accordingly
