This position is for a Long-term Property Management company. The primary role of the BDM is to bring accounts (owners of properties/assets and or real estate portfolios) to the company.

We are looking for an energetic and motivated Business Development Manager to secure Property Management Clients for the company. As a BDM, you will be expected to work company generated leads, generate your own leads, meet with prospects, build relationships with referral sources, assist in the creation of marketing videos and materials, and generally work to gain clients for the business.

Ample training, resources, and direction with a coach will be given to ensure the BDM is set up for success. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and know how to implement what they learn effectively.

You must be competent with IT, social media, marketing, and computer skills. If you have a compelling people/sales skill, we want to talk to you. Great attitude & above and beyond customer service is a priority.

This is a salary plus bonuses position for high growth opportunities.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:

  • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
  • Finding and developing new markets and adding additional business
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
  • Presenting presentations for clients.
  • Meeting goals for business growth
  • Sending out marketing materials to multi-family investors
  • Making presentations to Multi-family and portfolio investors
  • Making presentations to real estate firms/agents/teams.
  • Find and locate property management companies in area for acquisition.
  • Service Existing and Company Generated Leads: Contact prospects through phone, text, video, and in person meetings with the goal of turning a prospect into a client.
  • Assist with Lead Generation: Social Media campaigns, networking, public presentations, warm and cold calling.
  • Conduct in person, phone, or video conference meetings with potential Property Management clients to discuss their home, provide an overview of our services, and review what their home should be able to achieve in the rental market.

This Position Requires:

  • Over the phone or video conferencing sales experience and be comfortable with discussing our services with potential owner clients with the emphasis on closing for an in-person appointment.
  • In-person meetings and business development experience: This position will require daily face to face interaction with potential clients or business partners.
  • Strong interpersonal skills would be required with proven ability to close for the business.
  • History of proven sales performance.
  • Experience in the property management, investor or real estate industry preferred.
  • Foster and maintain relationships in the Realtor and Investor community
  • Regular internal communication so that all teams are current on the status of prospects/new owners
  • Help to create Customer Loyalty Campaigns to improve the overall retention of owner clients.
  • Daily professional appearance.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.

Business Development Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing or related field.
  • Experience in sales, marketing or related field.
  • Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
  • Strong marketing and social media skills
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Availability during normal business hours and occasionally after hours or on weekends
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
  • Valid Drivers License with reliable transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Income Potential: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
