Substance Abuse Counselor – CADC-1 / RADT

We are hiring compassionate and experienced, certified Substance Use Disorder Counselors to work with our clients at Visit Recovery Center in Los Gatos, Ca . This is a key role whose primary goal is to provide a safe, supportive, nurturing environment for our clients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE COUNSELOR:

• Conduct individual counseling sessions and group or family sessions as scheduled and document as required.
• Facilitate assigned group or family sessions and assist with modifying problem behaviors.
• Responsible for initial assessments, as well as follow up assessment for client.
• Prepare individual treatment plan for each assigned client.
• Evaluate the needs of the client and determine if referrals to other programs or facilities is needed.

EDUCATION AND CREDENTIALLING REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in social or health services field preferred
• Licensure or certification as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor, as required by California
• CADC or RADT required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

COMPENSATION RANGE:

Hourly compensation is established as "DOE" contingent on years of experience, credential/licensure, and education.
