We are a small weight loss and wellnesss business currently located in Drexel Hill, PA (moving to a larger office in Havertown, PA on 6/6/2023!). We believe that healthy and sustainable weight management is an achievable goal for all individuals. Our fast-growing weight management office is looking for a part time Medical Assistant! Our office is run by a highly experienced Nurse Practitioner who is dedicated to helping our patients achieve their weight loss goals in a safe and effective manner. As a Medical Assistant in our office, you will play a key role in ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and attention.

This weight management office has a small patient population, however there is a heavy emphasis on customer service. You MUST be friendly and a people person!

Ideal Hours (flexible):

• Tuesday 8a-4p
• Wednesday: 8a-12p
• Thursday 9a-3p

Responsibilities:

• Assist our Nurse Practitioner in providing medical care to patients
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Prepare exam rooms and equipment for patient visits
• Perform basic phlebotomy and injections as directed by the NP (training will be provided).
• Take vital signs and document patient information
• Provide excellent customer service and concierge service to our patients
• Assist with updating our website and social media and with recruitment/retention of patients.

Qualifications:

• Certificate in Medical Assisting from an accredited institution
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
• Proficient in using social media platforms to advertise and promote services
