The Weston School is looking for full and part time teachers to join our dynamic team! We are looking for individuals who are adaptable, promote safety, and enjoy being creative and teaching young learners.

Pay Rate= $15- 18.50/ hr. based on experience & relevant education.

Responsibilities:

- Develop a weekly lesson plan and follow a full schedule of activities teaching developmentally appropriate skills.

- Provide a variety of materials and resources for children to explore.

- Promote opportunities for students to observe, question, and investigate.

- Follow a cleaning routine throughout the day that keeps all classroom areas sanitary and safe.

- Build a nurturing relationship with each student and family in your classroom. Develop strong communication with all parents and families.

- Encourage all student’s classroom participation and engagement; working to enhance every student’s self-confidence.

- Serve students prepared snacks and meals and monitor students during mealtimes.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required

• Individuals who are HS seniors and 18, or HS graduates and 17 are welcome to apply.

License: Child Development Associates (CDA)- or willingness to obtain -preferred

Experience: Prior experience beneficial, but not required; paid training provided. Passion for educating children mandatory!

*Must be authorized and legally able to work in the USA

*Must pass all background and drug tests

Pay: $15.00 - $18.50 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Professional Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
