We are seeking a highly motivated and hardworking Communications Technologist to join our team. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to primary customer interface, monitoring customer helpline along with the entity email account regularly for service requests, client communication and management of content in several streaming libraries.

On any given day, you may be called on to:

• Coordinate schedules and handle incoming customer requests to meet customer demands for both live-streaming setup and media import into content libraries
• Help clients understand what services/technologies are required for their needs
• Assist with the production of live-streaming and video recording events which would include basic operation of video equipment

• High School Diploma plus three or more years of relevant experience
• Experience with live-streaming and video recording
• Experience with general website content creation, design, and content management
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q level security clearance

• Knowledge of and experience with MS Office applications
• Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and follow through to completion on multiple task with competing deadlines
• Experience working with varying levels of technical staff and non technical customers
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to build relationships with all levels of staff and management
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Detailed oriented
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Sandia's policies and procedures
• Prior content management experience, Mediasite platform experience preferred
• Familiarity with a range of video equipment and video production skills
• Awareness of project management best practices

The Videoconference & Collaborative Technologies (VACT) team provide consulting, videoconference and collaboration support to deliver a reliable interactive communication capability that enables Sandians to effectively share ideas, concepts and information. These services include: videoconference event coordination and live event set-up assistance, conference room equipment maintenance and management, conference room design and integration, & collaborative environments development.
