Description:Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is seeking an International Trade Compliance (ITC) Export Compliance Coordinator (ECC) to support international business within the RMS Sikorsky market segments. The selected candidate will be responsible for all EAR and ITAR compliance and license authorizations related to various programs within the Sikorsky market segments and may cover both FMS and DCS programs. The incumbent will be the primary ITC point of contact for international program teams working closely with team members, legal, customer support, engineering, supply management, and technical data professionals to develop ITC strategies, facilitate, analyze, authorize, and assess compliance of export activities performed under U.S. export and import laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
1- Work closely with program teams functioning as the ITC subject matter expert, providing ITC strategies to facilitate regulatory compliance and meet program execution objectives.
2- Travel as necessary to support program compliance for customer deliveries.
3- Provide assistance to company personnel on import and export related issues, and ensure all export/import licenses are drafted in accordance with US Government regulations and company policy.
4- Respond to ITC questions, including the interpretation of company policies and procedures, work instructions, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Monitor, analyze, apply and advise on these export licensing laws, regulations,
5- Prepare, submit and administer licenses (DSP-5, DSP-61, DSP-73, DSP-85) and Technical Assistance Agreement (TAA) and Manufacturing License Agreement (MLA) applications and amendments under the ITAR as required for the import/export of hardware/technology/services).
6- Prepare, submit and administer license (BIS-748) hardware and technology applications under the EAR as required for the import/export of hardware/technology.
7- Perform regulation analysis for potential use of EAR exceptions or ITAR exemptions. Work with the business to prepare, submit and administer exception and exemption standard work and monitor compliance.
8- Monitor and track the status of applications in process or submitted to the Department of State/Department of Commerce.
9- Maintain current and expired license files.
10- Assist with determining product import and export classifications under the following as required: United States Munitions List (USML), Export Control Classification Number (ECCN), Harmonized Tariff Schedule and Schedule B.
11- Identify compliance gaps and required corrective actions where appropriate. Lead compliance investigations, disclosures and audits including remediation activities and correct action implementation.
12- Review and implement foreign national visitor and foreign travel processes and procedures where necessary.
13- Attend training seminars (in-house, external, self-study), and actively participate in providing communication and training on ITC rules and regulations to the business as appropriate.
14- Support major ITC Initiatives (i.e. International Military SAP/GTS, Foreign Stocking Location Set-up) to ensure seamless ITC transition.
15- Provide oversight of the license owners that conduct ITAR/EAR activities and interact directly with foreign licensees under the license
16- Anticipate changes to relationships that will give rises to changes in authorizations and take necessary action to minimize business disruptions.
Basic Qualifications:
BS/BA with a minimum 7-10+ years of licensing and export/import experience, 5-8+ with advance degree.
Expert in import/export licenses/agreements.

Must meet the ITAR definition of a "US Person"
Desired Skills:
Self-starter with strong organizational, time management, planning and follow-through capabilities. Must have high energy, good interpersonal skills, communication, and presentation skills with strong team leadership.

Ability to work in a complex, fast-moving environment with multiple international partners and foreign nationals. Acute attention to detail as well as the ability to interpret and apply complex regulations.

Basic understanding of Program Management principles.

Expert in export/import regulations.

Background or experience within aerospace industry.

Full competency with Microsoft Office applications and SAP required.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $82,100 - $157,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $94,500 - $178,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
