Position Summary

Oversees and administers the credit risk management of the institution’s Commercial loan portfolios. Oversees activities of regional and subsidiary credit administration and policy departments. Develops, revises, and executes loan policies and procedures institution wide. Provides advice and guidance on policies, as well as unusual loan relationships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists in the administration of the institution’s commercial loan portfolios
• Takes lead on assessing and making recommendations on credit risk regarding loan considerations
• Coordinates the development or revisions of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory processes. Executes loan policies and ensures that deviations from policy are properly reported.
• Assists in the review and interpretation of new pending laws and regulations that potentially affect the organization’s business practices.
• Provides advice and guidance to the institution’s commercial lending management.
• Consults with service lending department managers on complex or unusual loan relationships.
• Review’s lending policies as needed to ensure regulatory statutes are met.
• Assists in the coordination with chief auditor regarding examination of lending practices and compliance with banking lending regulations.
• Participates in and makes presentations concerning credit risk at monthly meetings.
• Reviews allowance for loan and lease loss analysis and make recommendations regarding provisional expense and adequacy of the ALLL account.
• Serves as a resource for credit policy and procedure interpretation for commercial lending officers.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field.
• Strong financial analytical abilities
• Strong Excel, Office 365, and verbal and written communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
