Haymarket Media, Inc. is seeking a Director of Program Management & Operations Manager to join the National Association for Continuing Education (NACE), a continuing medical education division of Haymarket. The position is based in our offices in Sunrise, Florida currently operating onsite two days per week.


Job Overview:

In this important and highly visible role, the Director of Program Management & Operations Manager will oversee a dedicated team to ensure excellence in medical continuing education program delivery. The ideal candidate would have at least 6 years of experience in producing/managing CME/CE educational programs and have a strong understanding of ACCME guidelines and accreditation. The individual will require experience in the grant application and reconciliation processes. Programs supported include sponsored Product Theaters. The ideal candidate must have an understanding of educational outcomes, both pre and post program, to deliver quality results.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the medical content and business development teams during pre- and post-award phases on proposals, program budgets, pricing, and timelines.
  • Oversee execution of program components inclusive of virtual and in-person events and online activities. Assign staff to support program management and grant deliverables; including supporting adherence to procedures and best practices, troubleshooting, quality control, and identification of solutions.
  • Work directly with the CME/CE Director and Medical Director to oversee content review and approval of all new content, inclusive of mitigating conflicts of interest among faculty
  • Manage financial reporting and forecasts, including Salesforce reporting. Tracking all grants in NACE’s tracking platforms.
  • Oversee program financial reconciliations for clients and adhere to the reporting schedules.
  • Serve as liaison with clients, physicians, and faculty in the creation and delivery of the programs.
  • Oversee, manage, mentor, and develop the program management team.
  • Understand Production process and liaise with Production/Studio staff to ensure seamless delivery and management of schedules.
  • Liaise with Marketing to ensure audience recruitment and engagement plans are executed on time.
  • Manage outcomes timeline while ensuring reporting requirements are upheld and outcomes goals are achieved. Coordinate reporting deliverables with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Attend, review, and report on virtual and/or live programs as needed, to ensure support and quality of production/execution meets NACE’s standards.
  • Manage partnerships where NACE provides accreditation and the associated contracts and renewals.

Skills and Requirements:

  • 6+ years of medical education / program management experience
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability and desire to build a strong team and collaborative, efficient environment.
  • Proficient in live event programming both in person and through virtual platforms
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in fast paced environment
  • Experience in submitting grants and related portals
  • Proficient in forecasting and budget management
  • Ability to positively manage product and timeline, being flexible and resourceful in upholding delivery of the programs
  • General understanding of outcomes objectives and reporting
  • Experience in managing accredited content - CHCP or Associate CHCP certification a plus
