Reliable Contracting Company, Inc., a large construction company in Maryland, headed to 100 years in business, has a position available for a CDL Class A Lowboy Truck Driver based out of our Gambrills, MD location. This position is responsible for delivering heavy equipment to and from our many construction job sites throughout central Maryland. This is a permanent, full-time, day shift position. Some nights and weekends may be necessary during our busy season.

Job requirements:

• Qualified applicants must have a valid U.S. CDL Class A license, DOT Card and a good driving record.
• Must have 3 years prior experience driving a lowboy trailer.
• The ability to read a map and knowledge of Maryland's roadways are highly desirable. The ability to use a modern in-cab dispatch system and GPS is a plus.
• Able to work in a safe manner, follow OSHA guidelines, and keep the work area clean.
• Reliable attendance. Must have a positive attitude and willingness to work in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Training opportunities available.
• Must own transportation to work as we are not accessible by public transportation.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable Contracting is a drug-free company. Applicants will be required to take a post-hire drug screen and physical exam if offered a position.
• The minimum age requirement is 18 due to the hazardous nature of work.
