Sofidel America of Haines City, FL is currently seeking an Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team. Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining, repairing all existing electrical equipment in production areas and troubleshooting PLC's while ensuring all company safety rules and policies are followed.
• Follows safety procedures and adheres to electrical codes
• Perform Electrical preventative maintenance of electrical control panels and equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety standards
• Capable of utilizing mobile equipment: pallet jack, forklift, scissor lift, boom lift
• Execute electrical related inspections and report accordingly
• Must place the upmost importance on working safely, and maintain a safe work environment for self and others, always
• Installs, repairs, and maintains the electrical parts of industrial equipment
• Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment.
• Constructing and fabricating parts, using hand tools and specifications.
• Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
• Ordering of electrical supplies and equipment.
• Works individually or as part of a team to successfully complete projects
• Correctly interprets technical documents for proper execution of assignments
• Conducts quality assurance measures and inspections
• Responsible for operating, changing over, setting, repairing, and improving on fillers; packaging equipment, combining equipment, and providing support for the workings of equipment
• Maintain logs, and record labor, materials, and equipment used
• Responsible for calibrating and checking instruments
• Respond quickly to emergency situations
• Wire machines and electrical panels in line with prints
• Troubleshooting: identify a problem and proffer logical solutions to them.
• PLC and drive (high and low voltage) troubleshooting.
• installation of rigid conduit and wiring.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Two (2) to five (5) years of hands-on Industrial electrical experience.
• Must be willing to work a 12-hour rotating shift.
• Hands-on electrical, PLC, and motor controls experience in an industrial environment is required.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Multi-tasker, with detail oriented skills.
