Diebold Nixdorf is a leading global developer and manufacturer of banking and retail equipment. We are currently seeking a Senior Firstline Field Service Technician. Within your assigned area of responsibility, you will provide Firstline and Secondline maintenance for banking, ATMs and retail point of sale equipment, plus related PC and PC peripherals. Additionally, you will be expected to provide scheduled cleanings and entry level maintenance on products and perform repairs on Diebold Nixdorf and/or multi-vendor products and services. You will also perform module configuration as well as minimal software configuration and assist with special project work as needed.

• Performing Firstline maintenance on banking, ATMs and retail products and devices such as on-site problem diagnosis, clearing paper jams, card jams, or bill jams, and general maintenance including replacing light bulbs, card reader belts and air filters.
• Performing Second line maintenance of banking, ATMs and retail products and devices such as module calibration and replacement and minimal software configuration.
• Meet or exceed performance metrics as related to system maintenance.
• Taking complete ownership of the service call while on-site resolving issues.
• Following call handling and call closure procedures consistently.
• Accurately report service data.
• Promoting a high quality of service and following-through to ensure call completion.
• Maintaining devices independently.
• Escalating service request as required for resolution.
• Maintaining customer satisfaction to include: communication, professional demeanor and appearance through resolution of service request.
• Maintaining parts inventories and anticipating parts required to meet or exceed goals.
• Completing required cycle count and audits.
• Reporting part usage timely and accurately on service calls.
• Provide updates to the customer in a timely manner while on site in accordance with call handling procedures and customer service level agreements.
• Maintain communication with the dispatcher/scheduler from arrival until the conclusion including the need to further escalate the incident.
• Appropriately close and record service calls using internal and customer systems where required.
• Physical and electronic installation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational degree in an electromechanical field is preferred.
• Current Industry knowledge and prior experience servicing Diebold Nixdorf banking and retail equipment or other ATMs.
• Prior experience as a Field Service Technician.
