General Summary

Gift Department Associates will uphold the Core Values determined by the management team. Responsibilities involve maximizing departmental sales and profitability, minimizing expenses, and ensuring that their department is optimally stocked and merchandised. The ideal candidate will share our goal to “Amaze Every Customer Every Time.”

Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Processing new gift and home decor product after it arrives
• Inspect and price every item
• Submit damage claims to vendors
• Maintain back stock on merchandise
• Merchandising and display of product

Position Requirements:

• Strong computer skills
• Willingness to learn a vast knowledge of consumable products
• Experience in a retail environment preferred
• Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business
• Visual merchandising experience is a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for an extended period of time
• Able to walk, reach, climb ladders, and bend to perform job duties
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
