Driving digital business transformation projects and initiatives in the domains of Supply Chain, Sourcing & Manufacturing and contributing to the overall informatics strategy, governance and policy development of the expanding IT department.

You are the main contact for Supply Chain Function as well as Business Areas. You are responsible to create and maintain a fruitful cooperation network with your business partners in concern to ensure that business requirements are translated to effective IT solutions. Supporting and guiding business to be successful by creating innovative, efficient, and reliable solutions. You will be part of the IT leadership team and therefore be able to create and maintain overall IT strategy, guidelines, and operational models.

Responsibilities: As Head of IT in Supply Chain, your key responsibilities are:

• People management of 11 persons (some recruitment needs)

• Business partner for Supply Chain area and its leadership teams, assessing business needs and adapting technologies to maximize the effectiveness of their operations.

• Business solution areas covering following:

  • Integrated Business Planning

  • Logistics

  • Sourcing

  • Quality & Safety (QEHS)

  • Manufacturing Operations

  • Product Data Management in scope of Supply Chain

• Establish and operate productive and efficient IT services and solutions which support company’s strategy and targets

• Responsible to oversee all IT Governance related activities within own area, to assure that the investments in IT generate business value, and to mitigate the risks that are associated with IT. Manage development backlog and turning business requirements into efficient and innovating IT solutions by leading development initiatives

• Responsible of the IT budget = Opex 5m€ and Capex on yearly basis 5m€ (planning, follow-up and control) in own area as part of Paulig IT global budget (25m€).

• Prioritize and take initiative proactively for new IT solutions within the framework of the common business strategy and targets.

• Understand the IT services that needs to be provided to business to mitigate the business risks (compliance, security and continuity)

• Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent

• 10-15 years of experience

• Food & Beverage / Retail / Manufacturing understanding

• Supply Chain understanding

• Modern IT experience: ITIL / Agile / …

• You speak fluent Dutch and English. Competences

• Experience in developing supply chain area in retail

• Experience in leading change management, working in international environment, leadership skills

• Experience in getting different stakeholders to pull to the same direction

• Experience in finding business benefits in an innovative and proactive way, having solid background within IT and previous experience of complex environments

• Strong customer focus

• A good understanding on overall IT architectural design, service management and different development principals like Devops and agile

• Understanding of the business area in concern to be able to add value for the business partners is appreciated

• Sound working knowledge of IT operations, systems, and developments

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong teamwork, negotiator and influencing skills

• Strong leadership and project management skills
