Job description

We are looking for a housekeeper with excellent cleanliness standards to attend all areas of our facilities. The goal is to enhance customer experience by keeping our facilities in clean and orderly condition.

Responsibilities

• Sort, clean and fold all guest linens according to specifications.
• Maintain productivity levels on a daily basis.
• Maintain the laundry room (e.g., all surfaces, machines, bags) as a clean and safe environment.
• Clean, organize and restock linen closets at the end of the day (e.g., all cloths and towels, cups, toilet paper, rags, fill spray bottles, etc.).
• Maintain the discarded linen log and be able to maintain proper levels of par stock of linen and rags.
• Report any equipment malfunctions to the maintenance department immediately.
• Remove soiled linen from guest rooms as directed by Manager/Supervisor.
• Fold linen & towels, make beds, and ensure bathrooms are clean
• Take away, room service items, dirty linen, and trash
• Perform check on all room appliances to ensure they are in good working condition
• Adjust furniture, desk items, and appliances when necessary
• Dust furnishings and walls and remove marks from them
• Carry out floor care duties in hallway and guest rooms, and vacuum carpets
• Adhere to all safety, security, and company procedures and policies
• Provide immediate report of any safety hazards, injuries, maintenance problem, or accidents to the supervisor

· Provide assistance to guests with disabilities ·

• Genuinely appreciate and thank guests for their visit ·
• Apply professional language in communicating with guests and other people ·
• Provide support to team to achieve common goals ·
• Any other job assigned with in best western point south in any department.

• Able to lift at least 50LB

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
