Immediate HR opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist focused on recruitment. Under the general supervision of the Director of Human Resources and in collaboration with office and project managers, the successful candidate will identify, assess and bring top talent to H&H and will be responsible for guiding hiring managers and candidates through the selection process, performing full lifecycle recruiting, maintaining excellent relations with hiring managers, and candidates. This position will be in our NYC Headquarters Office.

Essential Roles & Responsibilities:

Recruiting Activities:

• Recruits, screens, and interviews for designated firm-wide exempt/non-exempt staff positions.
• Shares recruiting trends and innovative techniques to maintain a competitive state-of-the-art recruiting practice
• Advises supervisory staff regarding recruitment policies and procedures.
• Stays current on the company’s organizational structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.

Generalist Activities:

• Gather, research, and evaluate information regarding employee/management inquiries, issues, and concerns
• Provide counsel, assistance, and problem-resolution services to employees and management regarding employee or management issues following company policy and state and federal agency requirements
• Coordinate employment, benefits, and training and development programs that support the organization’s business objectives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; professional certification with SHRM, a plus
• Three to five years of HR experience with an emphasis on talent acquisition experience
• Engineering recruiting experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt to changes, delays, or unexpected events and to maintain confidentiality
