Coordinate the day to day processing of shipments arriving and departing from QuickSTAT gateway warehouses. Monitor and update shipment orders through QuickSTAT IT enterprise systems.

YOUR ROLE

Communicate effectively with QuickSTAT vendors (service partners and airlines / carriers) Assist other Quick offices with processing exports. To work collaboratively with Customer Service, Control Group operations and Dispatcher to ensure maximum client satisfaction. *Positions Budgeted to pay $23.00-$30.00 per hour depending on experience

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• 
  Check-in all shipments arriving into the receiving area of the warehouse.
• Ensure shipments comply with all IATA and TSA regulations
• Ensure shipments are properly marked, labeled and packed properly, and all documents (invoice, permits, bills of lading and master airway bills are matched at check-in and prior to staging for tender to the airline.
• Create master airwaybills (MAWB) for transport and ensure accuracy against details from QuickTRAC
• Ensure consignments are accurate and rate all MAWBs to reduce/eliminate any charges corrections from the airlines.
• Notify payables department when a copy of the airline rates are not available.
• Work with export team to ensure adequacy of supplies and dry ice
• Prioritize shipments to ensure airline closeouts are met.
• Document via QuickTRAC Job Issue Screen and escalate any discrepencies to the department supervisor or manager.
• Control loading dock and designated screening areas by challenging unescorted drivers or visitors
• Work in a collaborative team environment with Customer Service and other department that ensures maximum client satisfaction.
• Identify and implement strategies to improve quality of service and productivity
• Good working knowledge of all Quick Enterprise Systems (QuickTrac, QuickOnline/RX and Quick Oasis), particularly:
  All QuickTrack OPS and/or Import related functions
  First Class / QuickSTAT email program to include service partner or airline email / contact group information updates.
• To perform any department specific functions as defined by the department supervisor/manager with accuracy and timeliness.
• To undertake any other reasonable duties / responsibilities at the request of the management team
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Understand and embrace the company mission by providing the highest quality global transportation and logistics services for our customers
• Ensure compliance with all required training certifications

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

• 
  Air Courier or Freight Industry background
• Specialization in Biopharm or cold chain transportation
• Background in health care or Biopharmaceutical industry
• Operations background in related industries.
• Import / Export / Warehouse & Transport
• Clinical Trial Logistics including temperature control packaging, shipping and/or regulatory requirements
• GDP training and qualifications specific to transportation
• IATA Dangerous Goods by Air Certification
