Landscape Designer (Point Richmond)

Fast-growing, award-winning design build landscaping/general contracting company is in search of an experienced landscape architect or landscape designer. The ideal candidate is exceptionally creative, personable and very organized. Attention to detail is essential. This is a part-time position with work at home potential for the right individual.

Required:

1. BS or BA in Landscape Architecture

2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in custom residential landscape design

3. Strong organizational skills and an ability to multitask

4. Hand drawing skills

5. CAD proficiency

6. Extensive knowledge of California plants and Bay Area microclimates

7. Experience acquiring zoning approvals and building permits

Desired:

1. Project management skills

2. Plan take off and cost estimating experience

3. Purchasing experience

4. Computer generated 3D modeling experience

5. Hands on experience: Gardening, construction, irrigation, etc…

Other Information:

This job fulfills internship requirements for the Landscape Architects Technical Committee licensing exam.

Salary will be competitive within the industry and commensurate with experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $75.00 per hour
