Job Summary:

Manages the staff of mail couriers that handle the pick-ups and deliveries of items to UAB Medicine. Interfaces with outside vendors to monitor and analyze contracts. Manages the mailrooms, which includes the sorting and metering of mail and the maintenance of the mailroom equipment. Maintains a professional and courteous demeanor. Performs leadership responsibilities including but not limited to hiring, disciplinary, performance reviews, coaching, and educating.

Position Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Three years leadership experience. Five years' experience in mailroom, courier services experiences preferred. Must maintain a good driving record.

LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION:

Currently licensed with a Driver's License from the State of Alabama required and ability to be insured.
