Job Title: Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer

Location: Cypress, CA 90630

In this role you will provide technical expertise in relationship to supply chain and manufacturing support, troubleshooting, process improvement, insight to quality and measurement systems, and project management. You will assist with the administration and implementation of Maximo CMMS preventative maintenance software.

Great matching candidates will have an engineering degree and at least one year of hands on experience involving: CNC machining/shop floor, assembly, and/or tooling/fixtures.

Job duties:

  • Involved with presenting of the on-site information process, customer procedures, supporting documentation, forms, drawings, production, inspections, quality resolution, etc.
  • Write and create new work instructions, update existing work instructions, and make edits for new and existing parts.
  • Create and run a robust maintenance support program including: Equipment Criticality Assessment, Spare Parts, Preventive Maintenance Plan, Work Instructions, E-FMEA.
  • Support various process improvement initiatives as needed.
  • Communicate and interact with shop floor personnel, quality/process teams, customer management team, material teams, purchasing teams and other engineers involved in the process.

Core Qualifications:

  • AS or BS in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering; or similar field
  • Three or more years working as an engineering in a shop floor /manufacturing setting; ideally within the aerospace industry
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, SAP, and/or Maximo
  • Strong understanding of documentation creation, standard times, and performance ratings
  • Manufacturing print and BOM reading experience
  • Ability to architect and propose solutions to client challenges
  • Experience of setting up and running the whole project by themselves with little to no oversight from customer
  • Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
  • US Citizenship required due to the nature of the work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
