Direct Hire, Marketing and Client Services Manager

Pay Scale: $75k - $100k/annually

Fully Onsite Position: Monday – Friday (Open to 8AM – 5PM schedule or 8:30AM – 5:30PM, slight flexibility)

The Marketing and Client Services Manager creates and executes the Firm’s marketing and business development (“M/BD”) plans and programs on behalf of Practice Groups, Industry Teams and individual attorneys.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Logistics

  • Collaborate with attorneys and marketing personnel in developing and executing M/BD plans.
  • Assist with the M/BD budget, analyzing expenses and their effectiveness.
  • Communicate M/BD messaging to internal and external sources, including via the intranet.

Marketing

  • Identify opportunities to position and raise the Firm’s profile.
  • Execute digital marketing efforts, including the website, through social media, other branding efforts.
  • Execute the Firm’s event marketing initiatives.
  • Write and promote M/BD content such as website bios, articles, presentation decks, press releases, online content, and client communications.
  • Execute submissions for relevant legal awards and recognition.

Client Services/Business Development

  • Assist Firm attorneys in meetings with clients and potential clients.
  • Follow up with Practice Groups, Industry Teams, and attorneys with respect to M/BD plans.
  • Research, identify opportunities for attorneys with respect to prospective clients, practice areas, events, speaking/writing topics, bar associations/sections, and organizations.

Strategic

  • Work closely with attorneys to become familiar with their services, clients, and competitors to advise on the most effective M/BD approaches.
  • Assist with training attorneys on a regular basis with respect to M/BD efforts. Identify and spearhead development and implementation of technology to support M/BD efforts.
  • Identify areas of competitive intelligence, analyze, and conduct research on clients as well as competitors to the Firm, Practice Groups, and individual attorneys. Develop thorough understanding of the strengths/weaknesses of the Firm and its competitors.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Advanced skills in research and in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and social media platforms.
  • An intuitive understanding of legal and/or professional services marketing and business development is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
