The Marketing Coordinator for Ace DTLA will be responsible for multiple tasks that drive the success of
marketing efforts across all hotel outlets including The Theatre at Ace Hotel, LOAM, and Upstairs.
Working under the guidance of the Marketing and Community Manager, these tasks include updating
information across venue touchpoints (websites, app, socials), updating of email automations, integrating
contact information for our database, arranging printing, receiving, coordination and display of marketing
assets supporting The Theatre, LOAM, rooms, and ancillary products.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO


  • Update venue websites and app and maintain quality control (ensure information is up to date, work with partners to ensure F&B, VIP & Special Event content is updated as necessary and represented)
  • Coordinate with Theatre partners to ensure marketing assets are delivered in a timely manner
  • Execute communication plans to ensure key information reaches guests before each event via email, social, website and app
  • Own content strategy for all property accounts
  • Identify key opportunities for storytelling per outlet and manage briefs, photography, etc. to bring these to life
  • Own social publishing via Sprout, in collaboration with Atelier, for marketing initiatives across all accounts. Report on social KPIs & optimize strategy based on learnings.
  • Identify relevant content creators & people of influence that bring value to property outlets, own contracts & agreements.
  • Own Email marketing calendar and create monthly Theatre and LOAM newsletters for the A-list audience, in collaboration with Atelier
  • Partner with Atelier on content strategy in support of cultural programming initiatives & events
  • Coordinate creative assets & delivery to venues for future support via Atelier Ace
  • Help create and manage venue level creative assets for onsite & digital needs
  • Coordinate approvals and execution of promotions
  • Coordinate onsite activations
  • Assist with photoshoots and asset collection for respective venues
  • Live event social coverage as necessary

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING


  • 1-3 years of prior experience in event assisting/planning or marketing experience. Experience in the entertainment industry and/or content creation is a plus
  • Knowledge of social media sites and tools, and an active participant in social networking
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to professionally present marketing concepts and strategies
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment while juggling multiple tasks
  • Strong G-Suite skills
  • Ability to learn and efficiently use project management software/tools
