Carson Medical Group is seeking a Medication Refill Assistant to join our amazing team.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Authorizing and sending medication refills following protocols
• Coordinating with care team to ensure proper protocols followed for controlled medications
• Communicating with providers, patients and pharmacies
• Scheduling appointments for patients as needed
• Obtaining prior authorization for imaging and/or medications
• Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent customer service
• Good communication skills
• Experience as pharmacy tech, med tech or medical assistant
• Familiarity with commonly prescribed medications
• Ability to work well as a team
• Bilingual a plus
