JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the Network and ISP Administration activities for the Information Services department. They will provide the management and direction for the Systems Support group including all system, network hardware and software necessary to support the restaurant network and connectivity operations and the business activities of the organization. This position also manages technology compliance for the IT Department. They will actively participate in technology planning and contribute current knowledge and future vision for BBQ Holdings technology infrastructure.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Responsible for management and development of networks and ISP resources.
• Coordinate the support and project activities by identifying priorities, capacity, risks, and alternatives within constraints.
• Define, direct, monitor, and participate in the design, implementation, and operations technology supporting infrastructure hardware and software, data storage, messaging, security, networks, telecommunications, and change management.
• Partner with business users for the identification, definition, design, development, and implementation and support of technology in areas of responsibility.
• Responsible managing the relationships, activities, and performance of vendor partners in areas of responsibility.
• Participate in the development, maintenance, and forecasting of expense and capital budget in areas of responsibility.
• Participate in the setting the strategy for area of responsibility.
• Oversee processes for regulatory and corporate compliance as they pertain to IT. Partners with internal and external audit partners.
• Other tasks as assigned by manager

QUALIFICATIONS (Please indicate if required or preferred):

Education:

o Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related area required.

o An equivalent combination of degree and professional experience will also be considered.

Experience:

o 5+ plus years of professional technology experience required.

o 2+ years technology management experience required.

o Previous restaurant, retail, or multi-unit professional experience highly desired.

o Technology audit/compliance experience required. (PCI, HIPPA and SOX)

o Management of support services desired.

oExperience in systems administration functions or managing systems administration functions required.

oExperience with Microsoft products including Server 2008/2012, Exchange, O365, SQL 2008/2012,2016, and SharePoint.

o Experience in all aspects of Active Directory required.

o Experience or education in networking including LAN/WAN systems, TCP/IP, Internet required.

o Experience in managing telecommunications services required.

o Experience in systems management tools and data center operations required.

o Experience in remote access support required.

o Router/switch configuration and management: HP, Cisco, Meraki expertise preferred

o Microsoft Certifications desired.

o Information Security certifications desired.

o Periodic travel required.

o Ability to establish and maintain regular communications with the organizations executives, decision-makers, stakeholders, and end-users regarding pertinent activities.

o Ability to apply internal control framework to the activities of the team driving improvement in operations and compliance with applicable regulations.

o Ability to maintain internal controls, processes, and documentation in support of regulatory compliance ensuring adherence.

o Ability to develop and implement standards and procedures.

o Ability to effectively manage partnerships with external audit and compliance technology partners.

o Ability to coordinate IT audit and compliance activities with external audit partners including findings and resolutions.

o Ability to develop, implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, and processes to support best practices for data center operations, systems administration, and telecommunications.

o Contribute to data security activities of the organization as they pertain to IT.

o Drive with guidance the selection, negotiation, and execution of contracts with vendors for areas of responsibility.

o Direct the management of vendor relationships and services in area of responsibility.

o Ability to spot and track industry and IT best practices and trends, recommending improvements and upgrades accordingly.

o Must be self-motivated with strong initiative to learn.

o Must be a self-starter able to deal with abstract and non-routine issues.
