NURSING ASSISTANTS

- Full Time - Days, Evenings, shifts available. 7.5 hour shift.
- Per Diem - Working Hours: Flex Shift. 7.5 hour shift.
- Weekend and Holiday rotations are required.
Compensation is adjusted based on previous experience. $14.20/hr minimum.
Our Nursing Assistants carry out patient care assignments assigned by the Medical Surgical Unit Nursing and Medical team including but not limited to:
Our Nursing Assistants provide suppot to RN's, Physicians and Practitioners.
- Provides support to patient and family and assists patients with activities of daily living.
- Participates where possible in care plan development and implementation.
- Responds to emergencies with actions appropriate to position.
Assists in maintenance of a safe environment by responding to call bells and safety alarms quickly. Keeps patient rooms neat and orderly; Performs unit related activities assigned. Example: stocking supplies, cleaning, organizing.
Follows established infection control policies; Practices Universal Precautions; Promotes safety standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Genuine interest in working with people and specifically people in need of physical care.
- Willingness to work under supervision and as part of a team.
