Summary:
Goldbelt Nisga’a MOSTT, LLC is looking for an Operational Specialist to provide operations/administrative support to service members attending TRADOC approved Programs of Instruction (POI) training courses. Training provided by the Army Logistics University (ALU) includes classroom training and/or hands-on performance-oriented training, simulation/virtual training and/or field exercise training.
Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:
  • Shall provide university level tasking and operations order tracking, internal university level task order and operations orders preparation, operations order dissemination and tracking, university level common use facility scheduling, and overall reporting of associated statuses
  • Maintain/manage personnel files and training records on approximately 800 students annually providing oversight of student records
  • Brief in/out-processing classes on unit procedures
  • Schedule and coordinate with outside agencies required to brief newly assigned students (i.e. TRICARE, ACS, overseas briefings, etc.)
  • Input all in-processing students into Electronic Military Personnel Officer Automated System (EMILPO), Integrated Personnel and Pay System - Army (IPPS-A), complete the Unit Personnel Accountability Report (AAA-162)
  • Remove all out-processing students from the database
  • Maintain the unit monthly reports, submit all required requests that ensure each student is operationally prepared for their next assignment and that the unit maintains operational readiness.
  • Participate at various meetings with CASCOM staff and elements of the Fort Lee Garrison staff
Qualifications:
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
  • Must be proficient with MS office computer programs (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Must possess outstanding communicative skills (verbal & nonverbal)
  • Strong attention to detail, highly self‑driven and results oriented
  • Flexible and can adjust accordingly to ensure team efficiency and deliverables are met
  • Position requires close customer contact and the ability to work independently and creatively with minimal supervision
  • Service provider must be capable of managing multiple concurrent projects
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in company level staff operations and planning
