Job description

We are looking for a energetic and hard working individual that is ready to learn! You will actively engage with patients daily, take medical history and perform pretesting exams to assist the doctors. Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

-Usage of auto refractor, lensometor, tonometry(icare), opto map, visual fields

-Patient visual acuities

-Preliminary case history including current and past medical conditions & medications

-Process patient’s information through EHR system

-manage continuous patient flow by effectively communicating with other team members & providers

-Disinfect and wipe down all equipment used

-Stock exam rooms with supplies & samples

Secondary duties when needed:

-Answer phone, scheduling

-dispense & adjust eyewear

-Contact lens Insertion & removal

-verify insurance benefits

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
