Job description

Operations Staff are responsible for daily operations and maintenance of Fort Knox Historic Site and Penobscot Narrows Bridge & Observatory. Ability to learn and demonstrate proficiency in First Aid, CPR, AED, and Emergency Operating plans; Engage the public effectively, Follow oral and written instructions, Drive a golf cart and patrol the park, Enforce park rules and regulations with firmness and tact to ensure safety of the environment, facilities and park users; Utilize a variety of tools to maintain buildings, picnic tables, grounds, roads, trails, restrooms and waters systems; Become familiar with park rules, policies and emergency plans; Respond to emergency situations that may arise; Become cross trained and provide breaks in other park staff positions (Gift Shop, Gate, Observatory) as needed; Must be at least 18 years of age and physically able to successfully complete required training and perform all the duties described.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
