This position is an entry level or early-stage Inside Sales career opportunity that may lead to other positions with the company – such as outside sales, marketing, sourcing, operations, and eventually into management and leadership. This position is a member of our customer service team in Kalamazoo, MI. The primary responsibility of this position is to sell goods and provide in-person customer service while utilizing parts knowledge to assist retail customers.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Greet and advise customers in the selection of products and their uses
• Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, and product features
• Sell goods to retail customers to support the overall goal of sustained growth
• Suggest sale of related parts when identical replacements are not available
• Keep current on new products and product updates
• Conduct inbound and outbound phone calls
• Develop over the phone and computer-based customer service relationships
• Pull and prepare orders for customer pick up or delivery when needed
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma (GED) – Required
• 3 years of sales and customer service experience – Required
• Experience with heavy duty truck and trailer parts – Required
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service
• Basic computer and math skills
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop and lift/move up to 75lbs unassisted and up to 100lbs assisted
• Ability to obtain a Medical DOT Card, if needed (company paid)

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
