Medial Lake quality early learning program with 15 years experience is now hiring for a full-time LeadPre-K Teacher.

Cela’s Creative Learning Academy is a Christian-based, Early Achievers participant in Medical Lake, WA serving ages 4 months through 12 years.

Our mission is to provide a safe, healthy, happy, and educational environment by thoughtfully preparing activities with the child’s best interest in mind.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To lead assigned classroom by supervising, designing, engaging, and nurturing children in purposeful programming, being responsible for children in a classroom setting, create, organize, and implement curriculum, (age-appropriate/developmentally appropriate program activities), to facilitate children’s learning.
• To maintain program site and equipment, and classroom cleanliness and organization to ensure a well-prepared learning environment for children.
• To provide and welcome ongoing dialogue with parents and caregivers about their child’s needs and progress and conducts family conferences.
• To demonstrate through action and interaction with staff, families, and the public: caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, and The Golden Rule.
• To learn and adhere to the Washington State DCYF Licensing requirements, Early Achievers and Cela’s standards and best practice in early childhood education as implemented by Program Director and Supervisor and to follow all procedures and safety standards.
• To attend and engage with children, families and co-workers in family program activities, staff meetings, and staff training.

• Excellent communication skills

• Certificate or degree in ECE
• Minimum of one year experience teaching in a licensed early childhood classroom

The following are Washington State licensed childcare preservice requirements:

• TB test within the past 12 months
• Infant/Child First Aid & CPR (In Person)
• Bloodborne Pathogens
• Washington State Food Worker Card
• Portable Background Check cleared through MERIT
• DCYF Required Trainings
• Proof of MMR, Hep B and COVID 19 vaccine or Exception.
• Ability to complete a 30 Hour Basic Training
