Duties:
Work and monitor equipment and restock materials as required
Keep cleanliness of equipment and allocated area
Watch machine operation and control panel displays to find malfunctions and compare readings to standards
Visually inspect production run and document results
Maintain inventory control records
Determine and report problems to relevant parties
Observe all SAFETY policies and procedures
Monitor and assess input/output, accuracy, and efficiency of machine
Calibrate, maintain, and mend machinery and machine tools as needed
Operate manual machinery and manage automated machines
Make sure products are made to correct specifications by monitoring equipment and verifying per production specs
Accountable for guaranteeing timely communication and interaction with management
Attach, install, align, and secures tools, attachments and fixtures using hand tools and precision measuring instruments
Speak with Warehouse Manager to solve machine malfunctions and production errors and get approval to continue production
Take out and palletize finished product to make sure product flow is maintained
May be asked to do other jobs
Necessary Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
Sound interpersonal skills, mathematical aptitude, mechanical/technical aptitude and logical problem solving skills
Skilled in working independently in a safe and timely manner necessary
Must deem safety as a core value; must act as role model for other workers and motivate adherence to safety practices, policies and procedures
Must have solid service and quality focus; address issues immediately when problems arise and take initiative to understand root cause, then communicate / educate team in a timely manner
Must be able to actively participate in a team based environment; encourage open communication and positive interaction with peers and management to effectively reach a common goal
Must demonstrate proficiency in essential tasks of the job and a readiness to learn and share knowledge; must take initiative to cross-train and maintain acquired skills
Must have exhibited record of versatility and dependability in order to support production and customer focus
Must be able and willing to work overtime, including short-notice requests
Must demonstrate proficiency with computer applications
Must be able to obtain Lift Truck Operator’s license
Capability to lift up to 50 pounds
