The Program Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day operations of Women’s Hope Co-Occurring Enhanced Recovery Home. This involves supervising the Recovery Specialists, ensuring that there is a therapeutic and trauma-informed milieu, ordering food and supplies, program inventory, training staff, running groups for the clients, and assisting with the staff schedule. The Program Manager reports to the Program Director or his/her designee.
Essential Functions:
  • Provide supervision and training for the program’s Recovery Specialists.
  • Maintain direct care staff schedule. Coordinate with the Program Director to ensure staff coverage for all shifts.
  • Work collaboratively with the program staff to ensure that all clients receive individualized, trauma-informed services.
  • Work with Program Director and Clinical Supervisor to manage intake process.
  • Maintain cleaning schedule for program.
  • Ensure the ordering, purchasing, pick up, and overseeing delivery of food and other program supplies, including cleaning supplies.
  • Accurately document and maintain food inventories. Provide guidance to residents, including menu planning, food storage, etc.
  • Ensure that the program is in a state of good repair, orderliness and is a safe environment. Coordinate with the Facilities Department and Shattuck Hospital as needed.
  • Develop, implement, and facilitate and/or co-facilitate client groups and complete required group documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with the treatment team and any other individuals or agencies involved in the client’s treatment.
  • Provide milieu coverage as needed, including: monitoring and assessing the integrity of the program’s therapeutic milieu; empowering clients to act in accordance with the guidelines of the program; assisting clients in self-administration of medications; conducting controlled substance counts; answering phones and the front door.
  • Attend weekly supervision, staff meetings, clinical meetings, in-service trainings, and agency workshops.
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary by the Program Director or his/her designee.
  • Act in accordance with Victory Programs, Inc.’s Standards of Excellence & Philosophy Care at all times, including maintaining professional ethics, boundaries and client confidentiality and working from a strength based perspective using evidence base practices (MI, CBT, Harm Reduction etc.)
  • Ensure that all services are delivered in compliance with agency standards and contractual requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree, or at least three years’ working experience in substance use programming.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in working with individuals with substance use and/or mental health concerns, preferably in a treatment or recovery program.
  • Knowledge of group facilitation skills or a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively as a member of the treatment team.
  • Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to relate to clients in an instructive, supportive, and compassionate manner.
  • Current TB assessment and current CPR certification.
  • At least 25 years of age with a valid Massachusetts Driver’s license with a positive point rating of 98. 99, 00. 01, 02 or 03 is preferred.

Schedule: Full time (40 hours/week): Tuesday – Saturday 12pm – 8pm (Flexible).
Rate: $57,000/annually
