Job Summary
We are seeking an Entry Level Proposal Coordinator to join B&A’s Proposal Development team! The Proposal Analyst will be responsible for delivering high-quality, compliant proposals in support of the company’s strategic growth objectives.
Responsibilities
  • Support all stages of the proposal development process from solicitation release through submission in response to government market research requests, sources sought notices, requests for information (RFIs), requests for quotes (RFQs), and requests for proposals (RFPs).
  • Review and analyze all relevant solicitation documents; assist with shredding of solicitation
  • Assist in the preparation of kickoff materials, schedules, annotated outlines, compliance matrices, and other proposal related documents.
  • Conduct analysis of outlines of proposal sections for compliance to ensure accurate mapping of solicitation requirements to proposal sections
  • Plan and track proposal development activities.
  • Coordinate logistics needed for review sessions and meetings related to the proposal life cycle process.
  • Interface with proposal response contributors in coordinating/preparing the response documents.
  • Review assigned proposal sections for compliance and grammatical accuracy.
  • Support proposal reviews (color team reviews).
  • Consolidate response documents from multiple authors/reviewers; incorporate review comments into proposal text; edit for content clarity and style.
  • Format resumes and past performance as required.
  • Perform desktop publishing in MS Word, and other tools (e.g., Adobe Acrobat) to ensure proposal documents are properly formatted, compliant with solicitation requirements, easy to read, and visually appealing.
  • Organize and maintain proposal repositories on SharePoint.
  • Configuration management and enforcement of version control mechanisms and established deadlines with all proposal team members.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
Required Skills
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously while being able to quickly shift priorities as government deadlines change.
  • Discretion and sensitivity in managing confidential information is required.
  • Strong consultative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong MS Office Suite Skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint), SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat.
