Job description

Dr. Robin Lowey & Associates Psychological Services is a well-established practice with offices in center city Philadelphia and Jenkintown, PA. We are currently seeking a child and family therapist licensed to practice in the state of PA to join our group as a fee for service clinician.

Working in our practice is ideal for the clinician who values autonomy and is seeking flexibility in their career. Our group practice has been thriving for over thirty years and we have a steady stream of referrals. The high volume of referrals we receive helps to ensure that our therapists can decide when and with whom they want to work.

We have exceptional administrative staff members who verify insurance benefits, schedule appointments, handle billing, and manage all of the day to day workings of the business, so that clinicians can focus solely on providing the best possible care to their clients. We provide well-appointed, fully furnished office spaces for those who want to see clients in person and can support those clinicians who prefer to work remotely from their own homes. Our easy to use electronic record keeping and billing system can be used from any location.

While you will have a great deal of independence as you practice in our group, you will also experience a collaborative, warm, and supportive work environment. We offer weekly virtual staff meetings and case conferences, as well as more informal gatherings, and the ability to meet with our clinical director and/ or the executive director for individual supervision/ consultation at any time.

We are currently looking for a clinician who has at least three years of experience providing psychotherapy to children, couples, and/or families. The ideal candidate would be interested in seeing some clients in person in one of our locations.

Supporting clinicians in deepening their areas of specialty is our passion, so please tell us about your ideal client and we will work hard to provide you with as many new therapy clients that are right for you as your schedule allows. The opportunity to do psychological assessments is available as well. All of the assessment materials one would need to conduct a variety of psychological evaluations are here and we have a steady stream of referrals for those who are interested and experienced in conducting psychological evaluations for those with court involvement.

We place a high value on diversity and strongly encourage practitioners of color to apply.

Interested applicants should send a CV and letter of interest.
