What You Will Do as a Receptionist

As a receptionist, you will answer all telephone calls in a professional and timely manner, and direct visitors to appropriate locations within the center. Some of your primary responsibilities include:

• Answering all incoming calls
• Posting all outgoing mail, delivering to post office, picking up and sorting mail, and processing office mail
• Maintaining ‘Resident Room List’ and distributing throughout center
• Ordering and stocking office supplies
• Providing monetary change for staff and providing receipts
• Maintaining contract files
• Posting employee meal charges
• Routine filing and correspondence
• Assisting in copying for various departments
