Position Summary
The Regional Director of Case Management is responsible for comprehensive oversight of case
management and transition services for assigned Programs. Ensure services are delivered with integrity and in compliance with all applicable Local, State and Federal regulatory requirements. Function as a liaison between AMIkids and applicable agencies.

Essential Job Functions

• Direct the coordination and implementation of case management services in accordance with national standards for case management scope of services including service coordination and transition management;
• Develop and implement case management policies and procedures of the assigned Programs in accordance with applicable licensing and regulatory requirements, as well as utilization management and care coordination standards;
• Coordinate, provide leadership and direction in obtaining and maintaining accreditation for assigned Programs including application of diversified funding methodologies for services such as community behavioral health managed care billing;
• Conduct audits of case management and transition services; audit the timely accomplishment of appropriate documentation, data entry, fidelity and submission requirements and generate applicable reports:
  • Oversee youth screening, risk/needs assessments and supervision/care plans to ensure programs are individualized and meet the needs of each youth, as part of the Performance and Quality Improvement initiatives,
  • Provide administrative review of behavioral health screenings, risk/needs assessments, supervision/care and transition/aftercare planning, and individual/group/family support services,
  • Provide comprehensive and timely reports to leadership and operations staff;
• Develop, coordinate and conduct various structured and informal Team Member training to facilitate professional development and effectiveness in case management and transition services;
• Assist in recruiting, screening case management and human services personnel; assist Executive Directors in evaluating performance of AMIkids case managers and human service professionals;
• Maintain current knowledge of industry and trends and regulatory requirements; research and review Community Behavioral Health Services including Targeted Case Management, Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment, and discipline specific manuals, journals and publications for assigned States;
• Attend all required training and professional development activities related to maintaining effective oversight of case management and transition services;
• Assist/lead special projects and other duties as needed.

Minimum Education, Training and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field,
• Five (5) years professional case management and supervisory experience,
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint),
• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively within multiple software platforms,
• Experience managing backend of the electronic software tool for case management services,
• Effective communication skills (written & verbal),
• Ability to travel 50-75% of time,
• May be required to obtain and maintain appropriate crisis intervention and physical restraint training, and certification as defined by state requirements,
• May be required to obtain and maintain current CPR and First Aid Certification by nationally recognized organization,
• Must possess and maintain valid driver’s license in the state of employment and have a driving record that meets the standards of the AMIkids Transportation Policy.
