Kinloch Equipment & Supply, Inc. (KESI) is seeking a territory sales representative based in or around the Lubbock, TX area to help grow our business.

THE COMPANY

Kinloch Equipment & Supply, Inc. (KESI) is a 27-year tenured family-owned business. We have three (3) locations in Texas: Arlington, San Antonio and Pasadena, our corporate headquarters.

We are one of the leading suppliers of infrastructure maintenance equipment in Texas focused on municipalities, utilities, service companies/contractors, and industry. We exclusively represent industry leading brands to include:

· Elgin Sweeper Company: Street and Industrial Site Sweepers

· Vactor Manufacturing: Combination Sewer Cleaners & Truck Mounted Jetters

· Truvac: Truck & Trailer Mounted Vacuum Excavators

· US Jetting: Truck & Trailer Mounted Sewer Jetting Machines

Our product offering includes new, used, and rental equipment; all of which are commissionable.

THE JOB

This job is for you if you are a top producer looking to join an established, dynamic, and fast-growing company. You have experience selling high value durable goods with a long buying cycle to multiple decision makers. You have prior earnings of $100K or more and have been responsible for growing sales territories into multi-million-dollar businesses. You desire to earn $125K-$150K and are willing to put forth the effort that will get you there.

You’re not just another sales rep. Your customers and prospects look to you as a business advisor who helps them find cost effective solutions that fix their problems. You work well with people at various levels within the customer organization. You win new business because you prospect consistently, and you earn the trust of and credibility with your customers.

You are not complacent about your selling skills. You want to get better as a professional salesperson, as a product expert, and as an advisor and coach. You want to work for a company that helps you grow and expects you to grow.

You must be a self-starter and possess a high energy work ethic. Strong presentation, interpersonal, and administrative skills are a must. Administrative requirements include updating account status, contacts, and opportunities via Salesforce CRM along with timely submission of expense and product delivery reports.

The position will report directly to the Sales Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include prospecting for new business, maintaining existing accounts, understanding customer needs, and presenting and demonstrating products that provide value-added solutions.

Territory travel is via your personal vehicle (monthly vehicel allowance provided) which is ideally a half ton or larger tow capacity pickup truck. Face to face customer contact is necessary to be successful. Limited overnight travel may be required along with local and national trade show and training event participation.

We provide computer based and factory training, hands-on support from management to help you get started and demonstration equipment. The nature of the business is primarily on-site product demonstrations at customer locations so having a Class B CDL driver’s license or the ability to successfully obtain a permit in the first 90 days of employment is required.

KEY REQUREMENTS

Candidates must possess the following:

1. You live in the territory that you cover which loosely encompasses the Texas Pandandle down to and along the I-20 corridor from Abilene to El Paso.

2. A half ton or larger, five years old or newer pickup truck (company monthly vehicle allowance and mileage is provided).

3. A Class B CDL or the ability to obtain a permit within the first 90 days of employment.

4. Mechanical skills or background to facilitate product learning curve.

5. A strong willingness and demonstrable track record of working remote and independent.

Travel: You must be able to travel daily throughout the territory with limited overnight travel as required.

COMPENSATION AND TERMS

· Base salary

· Draw against future commissions

· Commission based on gross profit

· Paid vacation and sick leave
